Welcome to My Solar Oven. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at MySolarOven.com (the "Site") and any products, services, or content offered through the Site (collectively, the "Services"). The Site is operated by My Solar Oven LLC ("My Solar Oven," "we," "us," or "our"), a North Carolina limited liability company.

By accessing or using the Site, placing an order, or otherwise engaging with our Services, you ("you," "your," or "Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site or purchase our products.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater, to make purchases through the Site. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Products & Descriptions

We make every effort to display our products and their features, specifications, and images as accurately as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, photographs, pricing, or other content on the Site is complete, accurate, reliable, current, or error-free. Colors and appearance may vary depending on your device and display settings. If a product you receive differs materially from its description on the Site, your sole remedy is to return it in accordance with our Return Policy.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices displayed on the Site are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors, even after an order has been placed or confirmed. In the event of a pricing error, we will notify you and provide the option to confirm or cancel your order at the corrected price.

Payment is due at the time of purchase. We accept the payment methods indicated at checkout. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. All transactions are processed through our third-party payment processor(s), and we do not store your full payment details on our servers.

Sales tax will be collected where required by applicable law.

4. Orders & Availability

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to suspected fraud, unauthorized transactions, product unavailability, or errors in product or pricing information. If your order is cancelled after payment has been processed, we will issue a full refund.

An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of your order. Acceptance occurs only when the product is shipped and tracking information is provided.

7. Product Safety & Assumption of Risk

7.1 Nature of the Product

My Solar Oven products are solar-powered cooking devices that concentrate sunlight to generate high temperatures for cooking food. By their nature, these products involve exposure to extreme heat, direct sunlight, and ultraviolet (UV) radiation during use.

7.2 Inherent Risks

You acknowledge and agree that the use of solar ovens involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Burns and heat injury. Solar ovens and their components (including cookware, trays, and reflectors) can reach temperatures sufficient to cause serious burns. Always use heat-resistant gloves and exercise caution when handling the oven and its contents during and after use.
• Eye injury. Concentrated and reflected sunlight from the oven's reflectors can cause eye damage. Avoid looking directly at reflective surfaces during operation and consider wearing UV-protective sunglasses.
• Fire hazard. Improper use, placement near flammable materials, or unattended operation may pose a fire risk. Always operate the oven on a stable, non-flammable surface in a clear area, and never leave the oven unattended while in use.
• Food safety. As with any cooking method, food must reach safe internal temperatures to prevent foodborne illness. You are solely responsible for verifying that food is cooked to the temperatures recommended by the USDA or your local food safety authority. Cooking times and temperatures may vary based on sunlight intensity, weather conditions, geographic location, altitude, and other environmental factors.
• Weather and environmental exposure. Solar ovens are designed for outdoor use and are subject to weather conditions. Wind, sudden weather changes, and unstable placement surfaces may cause the oven to shift, tip, or become a hazard.
• UV exposure. Extended outdoor use of the product involves personal exposure to ultraviolet radiation. Users should take appropriate precautions to protect themselves from sun exposure.

7.3 Assumption of Risk

By purchasing and using any My Solar Oven product, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with its use, whether described above or not. You agree that you have read and will follow all instructions, warnings, and guidelines provided in the product's Owner's Manual, Quick Start Guide, and any other documentation included with the product or made available on the Site.

7.4 Intended Use

My Solar Oven products are designed and intended solely for outdoor cooking of food using sunlight. Any use of the product outside its intended purpose—including but not limited to indoor use, modification of the product, use as a heat source for non-cooking applications, or use by children without direct adult supervision—is at your own risk and may void any applicable warranty.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MY SOLAR OVEN PROVIDES THE SITE AND ALL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) THE SITE WILL BE AVAILABLE, UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; (B) DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED; (C) THE SITE OR ITS SERVERS ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS; OR (D) THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM USE OF THE SITE OR PRODUCTS WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

COOKING RESULTS MAY VARY BASED ON GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION, WEATHER, SEASON, ALTITUDE, FOOD TYPE, AND OTHER VARIABLES. MY SOLAR OVEN DOES NOT GUARANTEE SPECIFIC COOKING TIMES, TEMPERATURES, OR OUTCOMES.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MY SOLAR OVEN, ITS OWNERS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, MANUFACTURERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO: (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE OR ANY PRODUCT; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SITE; (C) PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF ANY PRODUCT; OR (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS, THE SITE, OR ANY PRODUCT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO MY SOLAR OVEN FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless My Solar Oven and its owners, members, managers, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, manufacturers, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Site or any product; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, product designs, trade names, trademarks, and the overall look and feel of the Site—is the property of My Solar Oven or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise use any content from the Site without our prior written consent, except as necessary for your personal, non-commercial use in connection with shopping on the Site.

The My Solar Oven name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of My Solar Oven LLC. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right or license to use any of our trademarks.

12. User Accounts

If you create an account on the Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion and without notice if we believe your account has been compromised or is being used in violation of these Terms.

13. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content that are not owned or controlled by My Solar Oven. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of any third-party sites or services. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of those sites.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms, the Site, or any product shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Union County, North Carolina, for the resolution of any disputes.

16. Dispute Resolution

16.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at [support email] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for a period of at least thirty (30) days. Most concerns can be resolved through direct communication.

16.2 Binding Arbitration

If the dispute is not resolved informally, you and My Solar Oven agree that any remaining dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the purchase or use of any product shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association ("AAA"). Arbitration shall take place in Union County, North Carolina, and shall be conducted by a single arbitrator. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

16.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AND MY SOLAR OVEN AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.

16.4 Exceptions

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property rights.

17. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Site with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site or purchase of products after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Shipping Policy, Return Policy, Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and My Solar Oven with respect to your use of the Site and purchase of products, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether written or oral.

20. Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. A waiver of any term shall not be deemed a waiver of any other term.
